Liz Walters Joins as Manager

Upstate human resources and talent management professional Elizabeth Walters, SPHR, has joined Marketplace Staffing, one of the Upstate’s largest and fastest-growing staffing and human capital solutions firms, as branch manager of the firm’s Fountain Inn office.   

A native of Holland, Michigan, Ms. Walters most recently served as a human resources and recruiting professional with a large regional staffing organization, and “offers a strong work ethic, excellent communications skills and deep understanding of how to help Marketplace Staffing customers grow their organizations by identifying the best available talent to advance their business,” noted Ray Lattimore, president and CEO of Marketplace Staffing. 

A graduate of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan with a B.A. degree in English, Ms. Walters also holds an MBA with concentration in Human Resource Management from Strayer University in Greenville.  She has earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, demonstrating that she has mastered the increasingly complex human resource body of knowledge and accepted the professional challenge of staying abreast of new developments in the HR field.  She is also certified in employee relations law, is a certified TS16949 auditor, and has completed union avoidance and Lean Six Sigma training.

She has been involved with numerous business and civic organizations including the Greenville Society of Human Resource Managers (GSHRM), is a member of SHRM nationally, and is a National Honor Society member.  She also is active with Wellspring Treasures.

As part of her Marketplace responsibilities, Ms. Walters will work with new and existing clients in the Upstate to provide staffing and human capital solutions that lead to increased growth and success for those clients.  She will focus her time on businesses and organizations in South Carolina’s Upstate, while directing operations of the organization’s Fountain Inn office.
