Lattimore Appointed To GVL Tech Commission
Upstate businessman Ray Lattimore, President and CEO of Marketplace Staffing, has been named to the Greenville Technical College Area Commission, the body responsible for development and operation of Greenville Technical College.
Mr. Lattimore was appointed to a four year term on the 12-member commission by the Greenville County Legislative Delegation, succeeding Reverend O.T. Hill. Area commission responsibilities include appointing a president, representing the college before County Council and state agencies, establishing programs of instruction, applying standards to all college operations, and performing functions necessary for proper governance with regard to policy, personnel and fiduciary matters.
A native of He began his professional career with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company before founding Marketplace Staffing in 1996. A Liberty Fellow and graduate of both Leadership South Carolina and Leadership Greenville, he has earned the Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) credential.
