Human Resource Manager Opening!

Marketplace Professional Services is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee personnel management and benefit administration for a leading manufacturing company located in Gaffney, South Carolina.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Maintain documents, files and overall personnel orientation
•    Manage relations and transactions with external HR/payroll provider
•    Timekeeping administration and reporting
•    Must have ability to maintain confidential documentation and information
•    Benefits administration
•    Oversight of training and development programs
•    Keep apprised of federal, state and local benefit, payroll and compensation laws
•    Development and leadership of performance management programs
•    Other duties that may be assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Minimum of 5 years of Human Resource experience
•    Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
•    HR Certification a plus (PHR or SPHR)
•    Build constructive working relationships with employees, contractors, clients and staff
•    Maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism in times of pressure
•    Demonstrate a strong work ethic with ability to develop priorities and manage time
•    Professional verbal and written communication skills
•    Microsoft Office proficiency
